A little about myself.
I have over thirty years experience in looking after fish and their oh-so-important watery environment. This has included all types and varieties but my favourite has always been the fancy Goldfish. I regularly breed and show many varieties, especially Common Goldfish, Lionheads, Bubble-Eyes and the legendary Veiltail ( yes, they really do exist ). For the last ten years I have been Chairman of the Northern Goldfish and Pondkeepers Society. I am a National Goldfish Show Judge and sit as Chairman on the Nationwide Goldfish Standards Committee. In 2004 I won the prestigious ''Champion of Champions'' contest with one of my black Bubble-eyes and then again in 2006 with one of my calico Lionheads. 2008 was another fantastic year as I won three ''Best Fish in the Show'' awards at major Goldfish Shows; with another of my black Bubble-eyes at the N.E.G.S. Open Show in Sunderland, with my one of my Red Lionheads at Bristol Open Show and with one of my calico Fantails at The Northern Goldfish and Pondkeepers Open Show in Manchester. I doubt that any one has ever before won three in a season with three different fish. In 2010 I again won the "Champion of Champions" with one of my Calico Fantails and in 2013 "Best In Show" with on of my lemon Common Goldfish at the Northern Goldfish and Pondkeepers Open show in Manchester.
